About Connection Bridge Equine

At Connection Bridge Equine, I believe every horse is trying to communicate. My job isn’t to overpower them-it’s to understand them.

I created Connection Bridge Equine because I wanted to offer a different approach to training. One built on trust, patience, consistency, and clear communication. When horses feel safe enough to learn instead of simply react, they become willing partners rather than obedient followers.

Every horse has a story. Some lack confidence. Some have learned to fear people. Others simply haven’t been shown a way to understand what is being asked of them. I believe training should meet each horse where they are and build from there.

My passion for this work grew through my own horses and through watching the incredible partnership between my daughter and the horse I trained specifically for her. That experience reinforced something I now carry into every horse I work with.

Trust always comes before training.

Whether I’m helping a young horse build confidence, working through behavioural challenges, or teaching groundwork, my goal remains the same-to create a horse that feels understood, confident, and connected to the person beside them.

The method I teach are the same principles found throughout my Ten Bridge program: small, intentional steps that strengthen communication and create lasting partnerships.

Because when we build trust first, both horses and people become capable of more than they ever imagined.

What I believe

  • Every horse deserves patience

  • Pressure should always be a conversation, never a fight

  • Small improvements lead to lasting changes

  • Trust is earned through consistency

  • The strongest partnerships are built one quiet moment at a time.
